Tansy in Windy Bay 2018
Tansy arrived at Windy Bay with all the guests from Passing Cloud. Mary was the watchman, and she reminded Raven Tanu Xoya that she and Tansy met each other a couple of years ago when they were the watchmen at Tanu…(click here to link to that post)

Tansy was happy to spend time with a little girl again and obligingly sat on a Hemlock branch in a friendly manner.
.
.
Raven decided to give Tansy the complete tour…here they are discussing the baby spruce tree’s role in restoring the forest ecosystem.
.
.
…and here they are posing by one of the forest giants that the little tree could become in several hundred years.

.
Raven is learning to be a watchman, and Tansy enjoyed learning from her…
.
.
…and being carried across a splashy creek…
.
.
…and she didn’t mind at all when she was accidentally dropped – the moss is so thick and soft!
.
.
They went up the forest trail together…
.
.
…where they found a huckleberry bush loaded with fruit…
.
.
…which Raven shared with Tansy.

.
Back down at the beach…
.
.
…Raven showed her a nice Canoe run…
.
.
…and they had a conversation about interesting things…
.
.
…and looked at stuff in the water together while waiting for the boat to get them.

Wow, Raven and Tansy really hit it off well. I would imagine that Raven will remember the day of Tansy’s visit for many moons. And, since Tansy’s on the quiet side, I’m glad we have the photos for her version of the story as well as the narrative that accompanies them. Thank you!
We are so glad that Tansy and Raven had such a nice time together – Raven is a good teacher and Tansy had fun while learning a lot.
Tansy is a wonderful ambassador for the Hitty community. She is an absolute joy. She delights people of all ages from youngest to oldest.
She certainly captivated, Raven…easy to discern from those brilliant photos that Tansy and Raven had a great time together.
They did have a great time together…Raven knows a lot and was a great Watchman-in-training. Tansy felt very lucky!
what a sweet encounter..so beautifully told. Raven, such fun to see her communicating with Tansy and enjoying her. Little girls and dolls are just so special.
I am grateful that the photographer took such evocative pictures, and Tansy really enjoyed spending time with a little girl for a while.
beautiful story, thank you to Tansy and Raven – and the Hitty’s photographer. It is wonderful to share their adventures.
I am so happy that Tansy goes with the photographer on his trips…it is the next best thing to going along too (and Tansy has such a good time and is good company!)
