…Owl Tan decided to visit!
.

The Hittys were very frightened…
.
.
…but Owl Tan just wanted to share some apple slices.
.
.
…they all enjoyed the apple!
.
.
…and even Siyah came to inspect…
.
.
Everyone had a jolly time!

Such great fun!
It was so much fun! Hittys, humans, elves and owl had a great visit!
How generous of the Hittys and friends to share their apples with such imposing visitors. It’s good to know that a jolly time was had by all….so quaint and downright fun.
The part about apples was a “hoot”, we thought! Hooray for fun in the forest elf’s home!
what an imposing owl! So happy that he was only interested in apple slices. Charming story and such fun photos.
We very much enjoyed having Owl Tan visit for a morning, the Hittys got over being afraid of him, and he even sheltered them under his wing when it began to sprinkle!
Thankfully “OWL” was friendly and just wanted to join the party. Loved the smiles on the face of the youngest member of the family when Siyah wanted to be invited too. So adorable…
Question – What kind of tree is it that OWL is in…the blooms look like blue roses…I can’t make out what it is…sooo pretty….
Owl Tan is sitting in our ceanothus bush, which we have pruned into a tree shape, it is sometimes called California Lilac, though it isn’t very similar in my view. Siyah is curious about everything, as becomes a self-respecting cat!
