Guttersnipe In the Gutter
Guttersnipe went for a walk after an autumn rainstorm…
.
.
…grass is growing in the gutters around here…
.
.
….the clover is advancing…
.
.
…and apparently the money plant is shedding.
.
.
We found a decorated broom in the gutter. Guttersnipe snagged one of the baskets…
.
.
…and carried it along through the pine needles.
.
.
It was very useful when she came across some hazelnuts in the gutter…
.
.
…Jane is looking up nut recipes!

My Goodness the gutters in Canada are nothing like the ones we have here in the states. Yours are chuck full of treasures. Finding those hitty sized baskets was nothing short of magical and they are gorgeous little baskets to boot.
As usual…Quimper human you have such a fun spin on life…love the money plant photo.
I admit I was surprised too, but Guttersnipe says lots of interesting things come from gutters! We collected only the one basket as the others were crushed or had holes in them.
What a lucky find. A basket and hazel nuts to put in it. I hope Jane finds a suitable recipe to use the nuts . I wish our money plant would shed like your plant did.
It was lucky! We went out on purpose to look for interesting things in the gutter, and were very surprised at the perfect little basket! Especially useful as Guttersnipe hasn’t any pockets!
I just noticed her little boots with heels! What a great walk in the gutter!! we have not gutters out here in the country ..just some very weedy ditches that poor little dolls can not walk thru. Hope that Jane can create something quite tasty with Guttersnipe;s find!
Gutter snipe is a little teetery tottery on her spiky little heels, but she refuses to take them off! Jane is super resourceful and will find something involving the nice little hazelnuts, I am sure of it!
