Izzy
Izzy sat in her basket and moped…

…until Gilly asked if they could be friends.
.
.
…they sat and looked at the windowsill garden
.
.
…and Vanilla read to them for a while.

They got hungry, so Vanilla sent them to…
.
.
Jane, who made them…
.
.
…waffles and pancakes!!
Happy Waffle Day!

A friend gave me the tiny Izannah Walker-style doll last year, made by Connie White. She needed some proper clothes before she could come out and play.

I *love*, Love, **LOVE** your little Izzy!!! I wish we had an Izzy sister here! 🙂
She is a little cutie isn’t she? We are glad she finally has some “proper “ clothing, but she still looks a bit forlorn. We might have to find some other ways to cheer her up besides new clothes and pancakes!
Enjoy the waffles, little dolls. It’s so nice to make the acquaintance of Izzy, now in her sweet little gown.
The Quimper Hittys always like March 15th, and the resultant stacks of waffles and pancakes. We were happy to give Izzy a home, and are only sorry it has taken this long to dress her! She and Gilly are looking for new ways to keep each other company!
Happy Waffle Day! A very happy ending indeed!
Thank you! Waffle day is one of our favourite holidays – most of our favourite celebrations involve butter, cream and eggs, but this one includes maple syrup in the delights!
Izzy has come to the right Cupboard to get over her mopes. Happy Waffle day …what a wonderful way to welcome a new member of the family and introduce Izzy to a whole bunch of admiring fans.
True moping in the cupboard doesn’t usually last very long – Izzy will have to cheer up at least a little…there are some shy and retiring girls who may take her under their wings…she may learn to love it here in a quiet way.
