August Beach
The tide was really low in late August because of the new moon so Amelia and Tuesday went to the beach to see what they could see.

.
There were barnacles and seaweed…
.
.
and zillions of Periwinkles, and seaweed…
.
.
…sea anemones, and seaweed…
.
.
…and a mooshy thing under a rock and more seaweed.
.
.
They collected interesting rocks, beach glass, and seaweed…
.
.
…and contemplated the beauty of the world at the little salt-water marsh! We love going down to our little beach. It was nice and peaceful this morning!

I find that there is nothing more fun than going treasure hunting in nature. Amelia and Tuesday found treasure for sure. You have beauty and serenity so close and available to you. Blessed!
We love treasure-hunting at the beach! There is always something wonderful and interesting to see…
Such fun! The only regret we have about living in our beautiful valley, is it is not close enough to the sea for regular beach combing rambles.

We live very close, but still do not take advantage as often as we might! The Hittys do their best to fix that, though, and we always have fun when we do go!
Such a lovely ramble you’ve taken us on….makes me think that one of these days, our Hittys and I should make a jaunt to our ditch/peat area and see what we can observe. Thank you!
Swamps, ditches, marshes – all are wonderful places to admire nature! Let us know what treasures you find!
So beautiful! Thank you!
You are very welcome, we really enjoy our rambles, especially when they end up at the beach!
oh just lovely! appreciate the photos and the identifications. The Country Hittys and I are pretty land locked so this is a fun adventure to take with your girls.
We think the mooshy thing might be a sponge, but we aren’t quite sure! We don’t go to the beach as often as we could!
