Berry Joy!
Min and Arianell went out with their baskets…
.
.
…to the wild strawberry patch beneath the quince tree!
.
.
Arianell found a big juicy ripe one…
.
.
…and Min found a big clump!
.
.
Arianell filled her basket nearly up to the top…
.
.
…and Min found so many that her basket overflowed…
.
.
…so Min gave the last, biggest, juiciest wild strawberry to Arianell!
.
.
The girls stopped at the tame strawberry pot, but they couldn’t fit anything more into their baskets, so the young human helped them out.
.
.
They gave the baskets to Jane…
.
.
…and Jane made Wild Strawberry Pie!
.
.

What wonderful conclusion to this day’s jaunt for berry treasures, Wild Strawberry Pie! Jane’s handiwork knows no end to tasty treats.
The strawberries were heavenly! We love June!
Such a joyous adventure with a very tasty looking outcome!
Berry season is the Hittys favourite season of all! Jane usually adds rhubarb, but the rhubarb season ended before the strawberry season began here in our neighbourhood!
what a wonderful bounty of berries and that wee Hitty size pie is perfection. Always a joy to see the girls at work in the garden.
So many perfect and perfectly delicious wild strawberries! The Hittys were in strawberry heaven!
So Beautiful… I almost watched and read as being in this Hitty World story. Thank you, Love, nia
The dolls always enjoy their adventures in our garden – it was very nice that you could join them this time!
Oh, I want to be Jane’s friend, too. I’d gladly bring her strawberries for pie or jam or whatever she’d like to make! A great addition to the adventures.
We love it when Jane makes pie! Rhubarb in spring, strawberry, in summer, pumpkin in the fall and mince at Christmas…a pie for every season!
Wild Strawberry (smultron in Swedish) pie sounds delicious!
It was! We love wild blueberry pie too…mmmm
