Chilly Evening Walk
Tipsy wandered down past the Queen Anne’s lace…

…and through the grass…
.
.
…to the rocky foreshore. It was windy and chilly so we didn’t stay long.

Tipsy says it looks like fall and it feels like time to get the sweaters out!

Hello Tipsy! We did comment under the email copy of your post, but we kept getting a message saying it was being posted for several minutes. So sorry if you get both.
We wanted to say how lovely it is for we more landlocked Hittys to see and almost smell the ocean in your photo, regardless of the season. We also love those hips that remind us of summer sunsets when the sky lookx red and gold.
Keep.warm. We have our coolest dresses on here, as summer has finally arrived after weeks of cold, rainy weather.
Happy fall!

oh goodness, a late summer might be nice after lots of damp and rain, but I hear it has been a little too hot over your way…I do hope the weather levels out a little.
British weather is notoriously odd! While most of England and all of the coastal areas of Wales were basking in a heat wave from mid June to date, we in Mid Wales were having cold, misty nights and cool, very wet days. As soon as school reopened, it became impressively hot and humid.
My wooden girls are confined to the house because we saw what this weather pattern did to wooden gates and garden furniture a few years ago! Very dangerous for exposed wooden skin!
Tipsy and Human, we’re joining you as of this last evening/early morning as cooler, chillier breezes have now helped push out the muggy hot weather we’ve been having. It does seem like autumn is starting to show up-leaves turning colors and dropping, weeds losing some of their vitality.
We can’t wait for more weeds to lose their vitality! We really do seem to have turned a weather corner in our part of the world…
It looks beautiful, like a perfect fresh Northern Hemisphere late summer evening…
It was a lovely evening, but our ears started getting cold because of the extremely fresh breeze off the water!
it is still warm here in Mo but the Country HIttys have been sorting thru their fall wardrobe and pointing out deficiences to me! I am sure you will come up with something warm and cozy for Tipsy before the winter winds blow! Love seeing her outside .
Tipsy is a hardy little wooden, but even she was thinking about goose-pimples!
