Garden Growing
Pea tendrils are so encouraging!!
.
.
And look! Our sunflowers sprouted…
.
.
…and are already 9 cm tall!
.
.
…and some of the Blytva is growing, though there was not a high germination rate.
.
.
The beets are coming along…
.
.
…and the carrots and leeks are looking great (no doubt because of the excellent guard cat)!
.
.
We’ve eaten so many delicious salads…
.
.
…food from the garden is such a luxury!

Such a luxury yet so attainable. Lovely garden, Perdita. Thanks for the walk.
You are welcome…we are glad it seems like the weather wants to be summer around here finally – and summer harvest is beginning with lettuce!
Perdita has a lovely mini garden within the delicious looking larger garden! Both look very well tended and also very well guarded by a certain feline.
The Garden Guard spends a lot of time in the warm dirt, and sometimes has to be encouraged not to lie down on the leeks! We are happy to see the lettuces growing in the mini-garden, and hope they will be large and delicious when the previous planting exhausts itself!
Perdita is a lovely guide to your beautiful flourishing garden! Pea tendrils are indeed encouraging.
We love the tendrils – and the flowers, which promise delicious peapods in the near future!
