Stormy Afternoon
Floradora and Arianell looked out the window at the grey skies, plants thrashing in the winds, and pelting rain…
.
.
…I guess there won’t be a beach walk today…
.
.
…or a gentle meander around the garden either…
.
.
Are you thinking what I’m thinking?
.
It’s a perfect day to sit on Mormor’s bed, read good books and eat pepparkakor!
.
.
Ohhh yes … that’s perfect đŸ¤©
I love days like that – getting lost in a book, interspersed with cookies!
Me toooo
Ooh, yes, ginger biscuits and a good book. All that’s lacking is a mug of hot chocolate…
M-m-m hot chocolate would be perfect…I think the girls may well see if Jane has any cocoa powder in her cupboard…
Great thinking is always welcome. It’s so nice to see that Mormor is available for Arianell and Floradora in their cozy book klatsch.
Mormor is very happy to share part of an afternoon with the girls, though she did have to sweep a few crumbs away after they left!
Sometimes we welcome a day like this. Time to read, relax and be together.
For sure, and Mormor was so glad to have their quiet companionship today.
What an excellent idea! Sometimes, curling up with a good book is the best plan ever!
Definitely a good alternative to dealing with gales and downpours!
We are having one of “those” kind of days here in Missouri. No Mormor but lots of books and hot cinnamon rolls to console us!!
Hot Cinnamon rolls – what an excellent idea! I’ll suggest it for the next “indoors” day, along with hot chocolate, and the books! You and Kate are onto a good thing I think!
I love afternoons like that. Do you accept me?
Cuando quieres!
