The humans have two Black Cats in the family – Blueberry is just a year old, a pretty boy with a sinuous and expressive tail…and Siyah is our plump “Queen of the household”. They tolerate each other fairly well these days and they have even been known to sleep together (though rarely)!
October 27th was National Black Cat Day… Blueberry and Siyah think every day is a good day to appreciate black cats!

Arianell has a beautiful dress for the occasion! And a beautiful black cat as well! Much more her size than Blueberry and Siyah!
We all love our kitties, and Arianell is proud of her kitty dress!

We loved that fabric as soon as we saw it in September – isn’t it just right for a Hitty dress!? We bought the perfectly matching blue thread in Oregon last summer, without any particular project in mind!
I shall have to tell Connor that he has a special day and apologise for missing it.
