Happy Year of the Dragon!

Last time it was a Year of the Dragon, some of the Hittys had an adventure. Click here for A LONG story.
I found the Dragon touque pattern on Ravelry, and knitted it for my young human who was born in the year of the dragon.
Click here for a link to the pattern.

That tail led to so many sweet stopping points! You surely know how to spin/knit a tale! Becky J
PS…what a pattern for that toque! I’ll bet it looks quite adorable on young human born in the Year of the Dragon.
Young Human loves the touque! She went shopping with me for the gold yarn, and her parent gave the blue to me saying it was her favourite colour – apparently she has been wearing it constantly!
So festive! I enjoyed this so much!
The Hittys always have a good time at Lunar New Year…and Year of the Dragon is so special – exciting and colourful! And is always cheering to see little wooden people having fun even when the humans are feeling sluggish!
you have some very impressive dragons and once again lovely knitting. Happy to see Min joining the party.
I exerted myself with the knitted Dragon touque – it was a matter of counting carefully and having faith that the pattern would work out – thank goodness it did! For a while I thought it might have to become a tea cosy for a very small teapot!
I like your dragons!
Thank you so much! I know Chinese Dragons are not much like Welsh ones, but perhaps they are cousins of a sort…?!
Probably 2 sub-species! Chinese ones are more colourful and have less pointy snouts. It’s probably evolution to different environments!

What wonderful little sweaters/cardigans on the dolls!
Thanks so much! Little Sweaters are a great way to use up leftover yarn scraps!
the girls are quite brave in the face of those fierce dragons. Love the story and the photos.
Min is particularly fearless – she just has an adventurous spirit, and she is fond of dragons!
Here thar be dragons!!
Thar be, indeed! It’s a very dragon-ish environment at the moment.
