Autumn Storm
The autumn rains have begun…
.
.
…everything is wet.
.
.
There are still beautiful things in the garden…
.
.
…like the spires of Monkshood…
.
.
…the Snowberry bushes…
.
.
…the burning bush before gives up it’s leaves…
.
.
…and the Witch Hazel even after the leaves have dropped!
.
.
It is very wet though…
.
.
…and Coriander thinks that Blueberry may have the right idea for how to spend the day!
.
.

Your narratives are always fresh, just like the rain freshening the Earth.
Thanks – we get quite a bit of rain in the fall and winter, the rainy season is just beginning!
Love the picture of Coriander and the cat!
The Hittys like to snuggle up to the cats, and are generally ignored…a warm kitty is as good as a hot water bottle on a damp day!
I find that too 😀
I think I’d like a nap on a nice warm cat, so cosy! Higgins is warm, but far too bony for comfort, and I don’t think his restless nature would allow me to settle for long…
Higgins would probably snuggle up to you if he could, but nature is as nature does!
what a lovely walk in a rainy garden. Coriander is looking sweet, my own Marie Claire (she of chicken loving fame) spied that chicken pinafore and heartily approves! thank you for a nice visit.
We enjoyed the garden despite the sogginess. Hittys always find something interesting to exclaim about in the garden!
so lovely, I have been lost into these beaautiful photographs, Thank you, Love to you All, nia
Thank you so much nia. The seasons change…we try to notice the beauty!
Looks like a nice Autumn adventure followed by a cosy cat nap!
Wet is good when it means the gardens are happy, but yes – a cat nap after the sogginess is also good!
