Strawberry Delight
It’s beautiful sunny June day…
.
.
…time for Rose to take off her winter dress…
.
.
.
…and put on her favourite William Morris print dress!
.
.
.
Off she went with her empty basket…
.
.
…at the berry patch she picked some green leaf liners…
.
.
…and some berries!
.
.
It was a big job to lug them home…
.
.
…we love June.

Rose, your present dress, apron and tasks are such cozy delights for this time of year. Enjoy your strawberries!
thank you! Love following the Quimper Hittys!
June is such a delightful month! Your berries look delicious! The berries are coming in here too, I picked some up last week at the market and we had a couple of meals of strawberry shortcake! It is a decadent pleasure!
ahhh fresh strawberries picked and delivered by such a delightful gardener.
so beautiful and be sure I am very happy to be in your Miniature World dear Hitty Lady, Thank you, have a nice day, Much Love, nia
My strawberries have done particularly well this year – Hurray for June! Well done Rose for picking them and carrying them back to share.
Yes! We all love berry season and like these little sparks of flavour. Black currants are ripening, and the raspberries are getting plump too!!
Ooh, lovely wild/alpine strawberries! And the William Morris print? I don’t suppose it’s the Straweberry Thief design…?
Well-spotted! Yes, Strawberry thief! The right outfit to wear while harvesting the delicious little things.
Lovely June! Rose’s apron is a work of art, I hope she doesn’t get any strawberry juice on it.
Thanks – I love Rose’s little apron too, and never fear – we have a solution for berry stains. Stretch the cloth over a colander or sieve, and pour boiling water through – it never fails, even on blackberry stains!
thanks for the tip.
Wonderful photos, kind of dreamy looking of a lovely June day and berry picking! Bye-bye winter dress!
Strawberry season is our favourite time of year!
