Blueberry among the blueberries
Blueberry season…
.
.
…we bought eighteen punnets and will freeze most of the berries for winter berry delights.
.
.
The new Hitty cat is called Blueberry because he looks so much like the human’s cat also called blueberry…
.
.
…he is curious about his namesake fruit…
.
.
…Coriander brought a basket-full to the Hitty kitchen…
.
.
…Jane is getting ready to make pie!
.
.
Happy days in the Hitty cupboard.

I wonder if when Jane’s brother gets a piece of this upcoming blueberry pie, if his expression will change to one of happiness. He’s a very intense looking fellow.
James James is a bit of a miseryguts, but he smiles when his back is turned or when his mouth is full of pie!
Thanks for the behind the scenes (back turned) doings with James James. Loved hearing that he is not a “miseryguts” all the time. : )
So many blueberries! They look delicious. Jane could make individual Hittie pies with just one blueberry!
Mmmmmm. Teeny Tiny turnovers may be in our future!
I love the name ‘blueberry’ for a cat!
My middle son chose the name for our big cat – he used to be small and round when he curled up. 🙂
Her dress is so pretty! I hope when the blueberry pie is done there are no stains on the dress when she gets to taste the pie made from her blueberry picking efforts 🙂
We have tricks for removing berry stains! We love berry season so much!
Wow…a bounty of blueberries. Love the new Blueberry cat!! I am sure that Jane will make a yummy treat for the HIttys.
Blue and bountiful in July! It seems like it was a really good blueberry season around here – we are eating them raw, in pies and muffins, and have squirrelled away many bagsful in the freezer! Yay!
I loved Blueberry Cat too. Beautiful photographs. Thank you dear Hitty Lady, have a lovely day, Love, nia
Thank you! Blueberry cat is very curious and friendly – the Hittys love him too!
