Hitty Tansy and her namesake flowers

This is Hitty Tansy, the second Hitty made by me, also made using a Judy Brown “Carve your own Hitty” kit,  I carved her in Michigan, at my cousin’s house overlooking Lake Superior. She was finished on October 11th, 2009. On her very first day of existence I took her to the Houghton Canal, and showed her the town where my Grandmother lived in the early 1900’s.
