On The Way Home
It’s been a great trip, but Tansy felt ready to go home. She hopped into her favourite dry, cushioned and protected slot in the camera case.
Some crew members were at the end of their rotation, and others were taking a few days’ break before continuing on with the project. Click on the gallery below to see what Tansy saw on her way home from the southern tip of Haida Gwaii:

You can learn more about Tansy’s trip through this link which has posts by her adult friend Ehpem who kindly took her along in his camera bag and pockets.

The Bonsai Hittys have very much enjoyed Tansy’s journey and adventures!! Thank you, ehpem, so much for the photos and adventures!
ehpem thanks you and says he was happy to oblige.
Hi Ann and Thanks!
I am beginning to realise that I might not have done some of the other more reluctant ‘hitty husbands’ any favours by obliging. To them my apologies. Not sure how to make it up to them now that the damage is done 🙂
Fortunately everyone on the project was very good humoured towards Tansy and she made lots of friends.
Tansy’s little determined chin proves that she is a modern Hitty with a definite spirit of adventure. Thanks so much for the beauty of a far away place and wooden adventures.
And many more adventures to come, we hope!
Nothing like coming home safe and sound after a very exciting outing.
Yes, now there is laundry, and then story-telling, photo-sorting and memories. A great trip altogether!
We learned a lot from Tansy’s trip to Haida Gwaii. I am sure her sisters were happy to see her safe and sound and she will have many stories to tell and talk about for a long time.
Constant whispering is coming out of the Hitty cupboard.
