Wildlife in the Garden
The feeling of being followed turns out to be accurate. Linnea discovers that the Wildlife has followed her into the house, and seems to be hungry.
She has heard that Pandas come from China and eat bamboo shoots. She finds a recipe book and suggests some menu items.

.
Panda recoils in horror – he only eats raw bamboo shoots.
.
.
Linnea apologises for her unintended insult. She accompanies Panda to the only bamboo grove in Victoria big enough to hide in – the amazing and beautiful Finnerty Gardens at the University of Victoria. Before disappearing into the canes, Panda allows her to take his portrait.
.
.
Linnea wonders if she can enter the “Wildlife Photographer of the Year” contest.

I think that if Linnea goes out in the woods today, she’d better not go alone. But, Panda was nice.
She is going to try closer to home I think, she doesn’t want any more Big Surprises.
you and Linnea are so very clever!!! such fun pics
I just follow them around with my camera – they have all the clever ideas.
Linnea is lucky that pandas are vegetarian, I think!
Yes, she had a sympathy for a lost, hungry bear.
Delightful story!
All’s well that ends well!
