Mormor’s Sweater

Mormor’s Sleeping Bag

Mormor Matilda felt a little chilly and under-dressed with just a pair of drawers and her shift.

Luckily she found a sleeping bag and decided to inhabit it while casually mentioning how nice it would be to have a garment as soft and beautiful as this one.

Hand-knit Mitts

The “sleeping bags” are a pair of beautiful mittens, hand knitted out of Alpaca yarn – the human won them in a raffle at a Fibre Fair!

Comfy Sweater

Coincidentally a friend was in the throes of downsizing, and gave the human a ball of lace weight Alpaca yarn and some tiny toothpicky knitting needles.

Cosy

Mormor is now very cosy and very pleased.

  1. Mormor was beautifully carved…an older, more experienced doll amongst the younger ones could be most helpful…and her acquired garments and “bag” look so cozy. She will be well cared for.

  2. Mormor is the perfect Granny with those eyes that truly seem to sparkle and that warm and welcoming smile. She is awesome. Her new sweater looks picture perfect…I am sure she is thrilled with her new home and family.

  3. Oh my what a perfect sweater for your dear Grandmother. She does look very snug and warm now. And the color is perfect for her.
