Min Looks for Entertainment 4
The human Lurgy proves to be persistent. The Hittys wait patiently in their cupboard, but Min continues her search for a playfellow…These Penny Woodens seem a little formal, even though one is ‘going informal’.
They remind Min of someone who hangs out in the Hitty cupboard

Jane and her relatives are thrilled to be reunited with each other, though you wouldn’t know it to look at their faces. Min is happy too but is off to search out a more animated companion to play with…

Loving Min’s search!
Min is finding a lot of variety in the human’s doll cupboard!
My goodness what dour ladies those are. I can imagine they would soon forget Min’s kindness in fetching Jane, and start scolding her rambunctious self.
The big Penny Woodens are askance at almost everything…Min and Jane cheered them up momentarily.
I had a great aunt that could put on a face just like those.
We love Min’s blue dress! It’s very cheery, especially in front of her new friends.
Her oceanic dress was made two years ago in honour of a visit from her carver, who arrived by boat!
Although they look like they could be solid friends for Min, I think she’s on the right track of looking further. This is a fun adventure to follow….may Min’s merry adventures bring some healing to the humans.
Min always cheers us up!
I think anyone who crosses paths with Min will never forget her smile and good nature. Go Min !!!
She doesn’t stay down for long…actually I don’t think she “does” down at all.
I am loving the search for a pal….and enjoying this doll cabinet! I confess to something of a soft spot for those
Penny woodens. They kind of remind one of all the solemn faces in those old photographs and lithos.
They probably do know how to have fun, in their stiff and solemn way.
Jane looks thrilled, but the one going ‘casual’ certainly looks rather stern! Good on Min for reuniting them.
Stern, dour, grumpy…or maybe just misunderstood, lonely and feeling chilly?
