Tansy’s offering
De-stemmed, chopped and boiled, the berries make a disappointingly small amount of pulp, with a rather unappetising colour… But Tansy has a suggestion.

Unique Experience
Has anyone else in the world licked the spoon after making Fuchsia and Blackberry Jam?
The jam is delicious, but the blackberry is the stronger flavour. We are thinking that perhaps we picked the berries too soon, and will trry and collect some more as they ripen up this fall.
We usually mix our blackberries (strong flavour, many seeds) with plums (insipid flavour, lots of pulp) to make the perfect jam. We are going to try again with the fuchsia berries.
What a curious concoction they have come up with. But I bet it is delicious. It looks like a very successful effort!
