They look so patient on Christmas Eve! What a great story to read! As for the TV versions, I love watching the George C. Scott version of it. Do they watch A Christmas Story each Christmas? We can never see enough of it. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to the Quimper Hittys and their family!
Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol” is an all time favorite – We love Scrooge and how he mellowed out to be a real kind man, because of the three ghosts. The perfect book to read on Christmas Eve – or some may prefer to watch the movie. Looks like the girls are enjoying reading the book. Merry Christmas !!
They are the cutest little cast iron chairs from my mother’s dollhouse in the 1930’s. I love those tiny dolls – Peggoty and Min were made by doll Artist T C Vollum, and I made Pip at a carving class at her house! Pip spent a year in my apple tree!
Looks like even the littlest girl is interested in the story. Merry Christmas. Pauline
Thanks, Pauline – Merry Christmas to you too!
These littlest are adorable! Pip looks to be really enjoying the story. Actually, they all do.
They LOVE ghost stories, especially ones with happy endings!

Thanks – same to you and your family…We’ve never seen the movies – no TV!
They are so patient!
They might peek after bed time! There is only so much patience in a little tiny Hitty!

It is a favourite in this household, including the very tiny volume in the Hitty Cupboard. Merry Christmas!
I love their chairs! And aren’t they just enchanting? :o)
