Far Away Hittys come to visit
The Quimper Hittys entertained foreign visitors last weekend! Here are the visitors – Sequoia Dawn, Hitty Gracious, and Merrin-Katz, who are posing with the locals – Mungo and Agathe. Sequoia Dawn and Merrin-Katz are wearing “Canada” necklaces, and pretty matching Birdie dresses. Out of the kindness of their hearts they brought Agathe a dress too. Since they were staying at the Royal Scott Hotel, Mungo felt he had to come along and inspect the premises. He gave it the thumbs-up, and then retired to the Hitty basket to escape the Hitty Twittering.
The Hittys and the humans undertook an expedition to find a scone, but were unsuccessful in their endeavours…Finally they settled for cups of tea and pastries at Pure Vanilla on Cadboro Bay Road.

Agathe thought the Fruit Galette was particularly tasty with its buttery crust and peach/blueberry filling…
.
.
The girls all posed in the flower pot before they all trundled off to Mt. Tolmie to admire the view!
.
.
Min popped out of the Hitty basket to help decide where to go next!

It was a day warmed by sunlight and friendship! We hardly ever get to meet Hitty friends, and it was lovely to show them around our beautiful city. In the far distance you can see the Olympic Mountains, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. If you wanted to get to the Hitty cupboard, you would follow the straight line on the directional wheel, as the crow flies toward the distant dark green hill on this side of the water, down the other side of the hill, and then stop half a block from the sea.

Charming scenery, dolls, friends with tasty tidbits.
We had very nice weather, visitors and treats!
Such fun!! Hitty friends are the best.
🙂
That is true, and they don’t grimace and sidle away when the dolls come out!
I’m glad you are all having so much fun! I have a Hitty friend arriving today too! 😉
Can’t wait to play!
Oh, lovely fun for you both – I hope to hear all about woodchips and catfish!
Haha. She does like catfish, so I think that’s in our future…….
I recognize these dresses! What fun! They all look so cute!
Don’t they make a pretty group of Hittys with their pretty dresses??? Thanks to the amazing and talented seamstress!
love the views, the dresses and Pure Vanilla. Mungo looks very dashing.
Mungo was a bit overwhelmed by the Hitty chirping and twittering, but he did his gentlemanly duty and vetted the Royal Scott. He is thinking of applying to the “Men in Kilts” window washing company…
Hittys Gracious, Sequoia Dawn, and Merrin-Katz thank the Quimper Hittys and their Person for a lovely tour, tea, and companionship in beautiful B.C. The Persons are in recovery, but the Hittys have yet to emerge from their beds.
