January Gardening
The patient gardeners have got some results to post at last! After Nine weeks and four days of storing the bowl in a cool dark place and occasionally dampening the soil…
…five little Tulip noses are peeking through the compost!!! Hooray! Now they can come into a lighter, warmer area and we will see what happens next!

The capable wooden hands as well as wooden and human patience is paying off! Can’t wait to see the gardeners faces of delight in the upcoming days.
We are so happy that the Tulips have sprouted! it is a very hopeful sight!
Ooooooooh love them!
We love them too – and hope they will continue growing nicely. We are thinking healthy and encouraging thoughts!
The Country HIttys love tulips. We plant them outside every year! Will be fun to see yours grow and bloom. My girls have just planted an amaryllis bulb we got for Christmas. Hopefully we will be as successful as your girls.
OH, an Amaryllis – how lovely! How many Hittys high will it grow we wonder?!
