La Carnicería
The meat-deprived Argentine girls are in luck – a new butcher shop has appeared in the neighbourhood!
Sideboard and counter are beautifully appointed!
It has gorgeous scrollwork edges, prettily painted shelves, hooks, and a red and white tiled floor, so easy to clean and so handsome!
A large selection of meat and cheese
including chorizos…
Min likes the drawers that open…
…and Gracia wonders if they are hiring!
Thank you so much to our friend who made this amazing shop. It was a complete surprise when it arrived on the Quimper Hitty doorstep! The Argentine girls in particular are grateful for the ability to indulge their carnivorous inclinations, and plan to have an asado for the rest of the Quimper Hittys as soon as it can be arranged!

What a wonderful gift…and right in time for the carnivorous desires of the Argentine Hitty. Looking forward to upcoming adventures. Thanks for sharing the links.
Thank you – the Butcher’s shop makes such a pretty little vignette, I think I may be busy modelling paperclay into salamis and hares in the near future. Having the shop so near to the Hitty cupboard will make such a difference, the Hittys can use the exercise by walking there, and will have access to fresh wholesome local food!
How splendid! I am awestruck by the beauty of your friend’s work!
It is very fine, and so perfectly Hitty-sized! We are also in awe that it has come to live in our cupboard!
oh my….I can forsee that this might lead to the urgent need for a bakery next door. What a totally splendid
surprise. And what a deserving family of Hittys. It really is quite a lovely piece. And thanks for the links
to the other wonderful items. Such a joy to view.
Splendid Surprise describes it perfectly! And a Bakery – what a good thought!
I see the Quimper Hitty Cats are also licking their chops!
They have a rather self-satisfied look about them too…better count those sausages!
How did I miss this! It is gorgeous! Your friend is a true talent and a wonderful person – I was lucky to acquire a market stand from her which will be a hat stand for a dolls fair in June. So exciting! She had a prosciutto at the sale that would be perfect for your purposes!
Isn’t she a lovely person! m-m-m the Argentine Hittys love prosciutto, I’ll have to enquire about it!
