Tea and Chocolate
We are having a heat wave here in Victoria. Comparatively speaking it isn’t so bad, but we are not used to temperatures up to 30 degrees. It is so dry that there are many forest fires, and though they are far away from here, the sky is all hazy. The heat makes some people feel very sluggish – Opal and Agathe are lying around in the back yard.
but loafing is hard work, and after a little while the girls feel in need of a snack. Opal suggests chocolate, while Agathe prefers tea.
Fortunately they have the perfect snack, Maccha Green Tea Flavour Prafeuille Chocolates, a gift from a Japanese visitor…
…little squares of Royce chocolate…
…filled with tea…
…that was delicious!!!

The perfect snack!
I concur – yummy!
Always your compoısitions fascinate me, these are amazing. Thank you, love, nia
You are welcome! I enjoy finding a little story here and there.
They must have to eat quickly so their chocolate doesn’t melt.
What a delicacy!
They did (and they had a little help)!
Oh what perfectly darling photos. Those girls are so sweet!! I had never heard of tea filled chocolate. How unique.
it does look like the lawn is a bit parched beneath the girls. Hope you get rain soon. Wish we could send you some of ours….10″ in 2 days last week!!!
We have gone to level 4 water restrictions, which is the highest it can go… and the forest fire smoke is so bad there is a extreme weather advisory. Sure hope we get a bit of rain soon.
Tea and chocolate go so well together, and these chocolates look very intriguing. Looks like eating them was hard work 😉
We had never heard of that combination either – perhaps a Japanese speciality?
Tea-filled chocolate…how unusual! Think it was warmer there than in Atlanta today!
They were pretty delicious, according to Opal and Agathe! It is warm dry and smoky – not a great day weatherwise…
Wow…. 3 of my most favorite things- Green tea, chocolate and Hittys! Heavenly combination! I hope that you get lovely refreshing rains soon!
We are hoping so too – for all of BC, preferably without lightning!
Tea and chocolate together in a square! Brilliant!
We thought so – yum!
Your Hittys know exactly how to live-either playing, adventuring or loafing…which is good sport in your heat wave. Take care!
We are definitely moving more slowly, and I’ve been taking the bus to and from work instead of walking 5 km! Loafing is on the menu in the evenings and weekends!
