July Sunset
At the end of another hot July day, Opal, and Agathe walked down to the rocky foreshore and sat in their favourite hollow to bask at sunset.
The girls are facing west, but they are glad the air has cleared enough to see the Mountains again on the Olympic Peninsula to the south.
.
Ah, at the end of a hot day, it’s amazing that Opal and Agathe had enough umph to walk there and bask…but, I do thank you for letting us know of the doings there and glad the air has cleared some.
We love to go for a short post-prandial stroll in the evening, it can be very restorative!
The light is so beautiful, and I am so glad that the smoke has cleared!
There is a lovely warm yellow light in the evening, Opal and Agathe love it.
oh they look so comfy…basking on the sun warmed rocks in the late afternoon. And so happy that your air quality is improving.
I think that these girls are very good at hi-jinks, but also good at basking!
Perfect, sitting, contemplating and just being.
Yes, it is so pleasant to just breathe and take in the view once in a while – time stands still.
