Isn’t laundry fun?!
Wee Meg and Peggotty were made by doll artist TC Vollum – check the adventures of her dolls Ellen and Pink by clicking here.
The linens were wafted here by a zephyr in January, it has taken me this long to get them washed…they are in various states of repair and age-related decrepitation…but are soft and pretty and a very nice weight for doll clothes…so their destiny might include transformation into smalls for small dolls.
I was surprised to see that Peggotty still had her elastic. The one that stayed here lost her belt long ago. I’m sorry to say that I replaced it with a bit of thread, so she won’t be changing clothes without scissors.
ahhhh smalls for dolls….a rather wonderful use of old linens…esp in such talented hands as that of the Quimper humans. Love the laundry photos. the little girls are precious!
A refreshing as the breeze narrative. It seems like every opportunity at the QH household is taken advantage of to the fullest by the dolls….always so fun.
Darling dolls and lovely linens and gentle breezes…. absolute perfection! 🙂
It was a good day for laundry!
Peggotty’s dress is very attractive. It suits her well!
Peggotty may need a new dress soon, as the original elastic is getting to that stiff and crunchy stage…I wonder if she would like something white?

If they weren’t already so worn and scrappish, I would have a hard time cutting the linens up!

We do have fun around here – and are glad of the company of small dolls!
A Spectacular adventure. What a lucky bunch of pegs!
Meg and Peg were glad to have been transformed into dolls! They feel very lucky indeed!
