Tansy takes a break
Tansy had a short break from Archaeology when her favourite photographer took her on a little trip off of Quadra Island one weekend.
Leaving the island means travelling by ferry, and ferries on BC’s west coast are rusty because of their age and constant exposure to salt water. I think they are supposed to get refurbished annually, but they rust gently away between paint jobs.
…but Tansy, in her archaeological frame of mind finds that rusty things are quite interesting.
She likes to examine things closely and loves things like rusty worm gears.
Having heard of the predilections of the new girl, Tansy wondered if Gráinne would like the ferry boat, or think it was too run down and staid to be worth the bother of a pirate lass?
No doubt they’ll have that discussion later, but meanwhile, after reaching the farther shore, Tansy hopped into a car and was driven to her favourite little cabin in the woods…
…where she had a nice visit with Linnea and her human family – outside when the weather permitted,
and inside once it started to rain.

Tansy can make any trip into a learning expedition. Good for her!
She has fun wherever she is!
And we get to learn too!!! Thumbs up!!!
Tansy is glad you’re enjoying her adventures!
Tansy and rusty stuff! Entertaining and delightful. Loved the pics of her visiting with Linea. How nice for Tansy and her favorite photographer (and fellow adventurer).
They are having a great time but we will all be glad to have them back!
