Love the Union Jack! and superb felty parrot. May all be plain sailing for the intrepid seekers.
I am also, once again, impressed and delighted by the animation and emotion you are capable of conveying with raw materials of such stiff wooden simplicity – I swear I can hear what’s being said in the first photo – and that parrot is listening in, eyes and ears on the alert; in the second photo that parrot is so intent on the accurate navigation of this coracle-like craft: Graïnne is totally focussed on the goal, while the block-twins are full of advice and interjection – I can’t quite make out what they’re saying, they are possibly keeping it secret? But I am all agog for whether they manage to accompany Graïnne, or follow her – or whether they are going to be sitting around excitedly awaiting her return with the bounty … suspense!
Always such a good start to a new day, whatever else is going on – I thank you, profusely.
Oh my goodness – I am travelling with Tansy in Haida Gwaii right now. She positively bristled at “stiff wooden simplicity” but then realised it was not intended personally. Phew! She can be a touch sensitive, especially when a treasure hunt is underway without her, and in the kitchen no less (especially after seemingly months of camp food).
My, my…what cute treasure hunters!!! Makes one wish to be part of the hunt!
I like watching the girls hatch their plots too!
Are the twins going to power Grainne’s basket boat? 🙂 Such intrepid adventurers!
I think that the combined imaginations and will power of three intrepid Hittys will be enough, but in a pinch, Opal and Agathe are sure to help!
This is all very doll-like…I love it.
Thanks, I am glad you’re enjoying it – there are shenanigans in the Hitty Cupboard this week!
oh yum, double chocolate brownies in the cookie tin?
We’ll have to watch them and see what they discover!
I love the parrot. Its not of the coarse mouthed clan is it?
Well, his language is slightly salty I fear…

Tansy will be home soon, I am sure the treasure-seekers will share!
You are welcome ushashi – the girls feel encouraged when they hear of people who admire their exploits!
great story!!! Eager to see what is going to happen in the…kitchen!!!
I hope they don’t have havoc and wreaking in mind…
