Thank goodness for the sweet rains of Autumn! I had never heard the word, ‘vug’ before. Such a funny little word for such a magical phenomenon. It looks like your adventure on Mayne Island was a delight. Thank you again for all the whimsy and pleasure that your postings bring!
always love seeing the girls in those wonderful rain coats!! Great photos!! Vugs….a new term for me! The Country HIttys have been walking around muttering vugs, vugs…we need vugs!!
Sandstone vugs! Glad it was wet enough to wear raincoats….what a reprieve for flora, fauna and those who admire it.
We are glad of the rain! Everything freshens up, and the fire Hazard goes down from extreme to moderate – a few more days of rain and it could be low!

We all love vugs and the sandstone on Mayne Island seems to have lots of them!

I think that old saying was actually “snug as a bug in a vug”. We think vugs are marvellous!
Those block sisters sure do get around to a lot of nice places!
They do – they love going nice places with good company!
