Tansy rides
Tansy and her photographer have made it safely back to the Hitty Cupboard!! Tansy is happy to be back in civvy clothes, but also happy to recount her experiences to her enthralled Hitty sisters!
It was a bit of a bumpy ride at the beginning of the trip.
Tansy is glad she doesn’t suffer from seasickness!
The boat ride lasted nearly three hours, and they were all glad get to their destination, a float camp nestled in a sheltered spot in the Bischof Islands.
For the rest of their work in Haida Gwaii, they had very fine weather…The Archaeology crew was glad of that since they had to get up at the crack of dawn to take advantage of the low tide, and spend almost the whole of every day outdoors.
Tansy was happy to see her old friend Gwaliga again, and he appeared to be happy to see her too!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hold on Tansy!!! Indeed you are getting quite experienced but accidents do happen! That balance act caused a scare among the Sutton household!!! Glad you made it back home safe and sound…bet you can teach a few tricks to this new “pirate” in the cupboard 😃
Tansy indeed has a few tricks up her sleeves – she is a hard-working Hitty, but she knows a lot about boats and is looking forward to showing Gráinne the ropes!
Tansy has the most wonder adventures and it’s always a delight to read about them, but the image of her balancing on the handrail definitely was daunting!
Fear not, that last photo was adjusted slightly – in reality she was quite safe in the hand of her friend Gwaliga.
Whew! I would hate to have Tansy end up swirling about in the water! 🙂
Wild weather in Haida Gwaii can be nasty. Tansy is becoming a bit of a dare devil, glad she is home safe and sound.
Going fast in a boat is rather fun in nice weather…Tansy is pretty tame most of the time, but she couldn’t resist a little tiny bit of fun!
ahhhh that Tansy!! The little dare devil. That pic of her balancing on the rail is terrific! As always the Country HIttys admired her wet weather garb. Happy that the intrepid Tansy and her favorite photographer are home safe and sound.
We are happy to have them both back too, and the photographer assures me that she was perfectly safe!
