December Lights
Carrot Soup came to work with me today – and the walk home was very dark! We were cheered by the colourful lights in some of the yards and gardens… it seems little driftwood trees are very popular around here this year.
We liked both the white lights, and the blue and white…
…and the multicoloured strings of lights wound around the gateway!
…and through the trees.
So many lights can be dizzying…
Carrot Soup was glad to rest in a quiet bush for a while.

You made those lights “shine” and bring spark to a real early, cold and windy morning! Thanks for putting a smile on my face 🎄
We are happy you like the shine and sparkle of the lights – we find it very cheering!
drift wood trees …how clever! Love seeing Carrot Soup having a good time. Her first Christmas…what a great time of year!!
The driftwood trees are clever – we have seen a lot of them this year! Carrot Soup is having a good time learning about fun things to do in December!
Thanks Carrot Soup and QH human…I’m finding that winter lights are a delight to my inner person at this darker time of the year. Thanks for sharing your walk/lights with us.
We like to light candles too, but the Hittys are a bit leery of them!
A festival of lights! How wonderful! Thank you!
You are welcome – the season seems to require delicious food and pretty lights!
