Swamp
Opal and Agathe have a special fondness for swamps and sloughs, and today went to the Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary to see what was happening in the wetlands this chilly February afternoon.
The Lake is a sanctuary for many plant and animal species including some beings not native to this area!
The Cat Girls had a good time walking along the boardwalks, counting the ducks and looking for other interesting animals.
Some of the interesting animals looked right back at them!

What an interesting walk! And how courageous Opal and Agathe prove to be! There’s no stopping these two from discovering all of Nature’s offerings 😃 Lovely day to all on Quimper
I fear that so far Opal and Agathe have not even noticed the critter lurking in the reeds – but when they do, no doubt some kind of interesting interaction will occur…
Leave it up to those QHs to come upon a fantastic creature in a spot where most of us are not looking for adventure.
Tra la la, just a pleasant stroll, counting the ducks, minding their own business!
Oooh…. scary!
I fear the croc’s appearance is against him, but we shouldn’t judge an individual by his or her looks, even if they have many large, strong, sharp teeth and a scaly hide…
A delightfully dangerous outing!
Little do they know…
goodness, we have a Swan Lake Reserve in our area but have never seen any of the colorful animals that your girls have spotted. As always seeing the girls in their cat sweaters makes me smile!! Thank you.
There seems to be a lack of swans at our Swan Lake, I wonder if that is significant?
Love this
Thanks!
Just love these two and the way they get up to all sorts of adventures together.
It is fun having them around – adventures seem to just happen to them!
