Rainbow Walk Home
Constance and I enjoyed a colourful walk home from work…
…we stopped to admire every colour of the rainbow expressed in flowers…
And we marvelled at the different shapes…
…and found flowers everywhere we looked.
Shrubs abounded, with flowers reaching higher than Constance could climb,
but the lowly weeds were beautiful too!
Exotic flowers disguised as greenery,
Huge petals,
and perfect little blossoms,
there seems to be no end of flora bursting with glory,
and sometimes the most ordinary flowers seem the beautifullest!
I think we live in paradise.

Dear Constance, you DO live in paradise!!! And you are an angel sharing with the rest of us.
We feel lucky, and happy there is a way that you can enjoy our flowers too!
So many flowers?!! Yes you must live in Paradise! Seeing Constance with the lowly dandelion reminded me of something I read..in our part of the world they are one of the earliest foods available for the honey bee! Thank
you for all these beautiful flowers and the always serene Constance.
The bees are in their glory, and so are the hummingbirds!
It’s sheer heaven to see such beauty. I’m glad roy g biv is alive and well in your part of the world. We are getting a drop of the “y” and “b” these days. Thank you.
Sunny yellows and Sky Blues, so many pretty flowers to enjoy! I am glad some of your blooms are out too!
yes indeed, paradise is blooming.
For Indigo, we’d have to come to your garden I think!
Lucky Constance to be able to see such beauty on the walk home!
She is lucky 😊
rainbows everywhere. so lovely
We are so glad the sun has been warming and brightening the walk home!
You do indeed live in paradise! What a glorious rainbow of flower heaven! Thank you so much!!!
The flowers are very lovely – some exuberant and some shy and retiring but all together lovely!
What a beautiful way to start an end your work day. My most appreciated gift is loving nature…and of course my Hitty’s. I was shocked in my younger years to realize that not every person on the planet loved “a walk in the woods”.
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand ( or your Hitty )
And Eternity in an hour.
By William Blake
We love walks in the woods, and think everything is better with a Hitty in hand or pocket! And William Blake was certainly right about heaven being in a wild flower!
