On the way home from work Hatty heard a rustling in the bushes…
…this seems to be the week for rescuing things on the way to and from work.
The resident Quimper Hitty kittys will give the new one lessons on how to behave like a proper Cattus domesticus.
..first one makes noise until food appears…
…then one finds a suitable spot for sleeping, such as a lap…
…or a patch of sun
…or a lap in a patch of sun…
…the Quimper Hittys think purring cats are very good for the soul!

I agree – purring cats ARE good for the soul.
We find a soothing, undemanding, purring cat almost as restorative as a cup of tea!
A cat PLUS tea – that would make for an excellent afternoon.
“Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France
From my viewpoint the QH’s represent the best part of our souls.
The Quimper Hittys certainly agree with Anatole France (and for some reason are reminded of a children’s book about Anatole the mouse who lives near Paris, and bicycles to work every as a cheese connoisseur).
What a thrilling week Hatty is having! Such treasures! She is a very lucky little Hitty, and perhaps she should be known as ‘Finder Hatty’ from now on. The population of Hitty Kitties is certainly burgeoning in the Quimper Cupboard- how lovely to have a thrumming of purrs to soothe all who have the heart to hear 🙂
Hatty has had a good week, and we are happy to add another of our purring friends to the cupboard…they are avoiding the twins’ new pet however.
