Prima Strada Friends
A Hitty friend from Georgia stopped in Victoria for three hours…the human and her basket of Hittys went to the Cruise Ship terminal to fetch the friend, her husband, and her bag of Hittys. Our plan was to take a little car excursion, and then go out for pizza, but the pouring rain caused a change in plans, and we went to Pizzeria Prima Strada first instead!
Click here for Prima Strada’s website.
We had the Pepperoni Pizza, and the Siciliana with fresh basil!
Everyone enjoyed the selections, and Hitty Trudy Cotton and Hitty Rose supervised the leftovers being boxed.
Hitty Vestavia gave Constance a little knitted hat, and a lovely coiled cloth basket made in South Carolina.
Gránne gave Vestavia a little beaded basket and some gold coins…
Hitty Hanna got to wear the new pinafore, while Hitty Sharon admired it.
We had a delightful time, and caught a glimpse of a colourful sunset before returning to the ship… We were glad to have even a quick visit together! Hitty friends are fun!

What a lovely rendezvous…good friends, good food, great dolls! Thanks for bringing the Hitty world friends a bit closer, K & C! Even though my Hitty friends are long distance, I surely appreciate them too!
If ever B and her Hittys plan to visit Victoria, be sure to let me know!
Thank you for the kind offer! Will do.
A great group of Hittys and a fine pair of Hitty-Mums! It’s so nice know to know that wherever we travel, there are bound to be kindred spirits!
It is a rare delight to meet Hitty friends in person! I am so glad to have been descended upon!
Getting some time with Hitty friends is always the best!!! Humans and woodens all seem to have made the best of those given moments!!! What a lovely basketful!!!! Most of all, thank you for sharing and give us the pleasure of knowing new friends😃
We surely enjoyed each other’s company, small woodens and humans too – and the pizza was fabulous as always!
it is amazing how Hittys seem to have great travel adventures. Looks like a wonderful time was had by all.
Hittys are small and very portable, and lend themselves to traveling! They also want to emulate their famous ancestor, who traveled hither and yon!
I thought that being a lover of Hittys was rekindling the kid in me. Now I’m not so sure. Hittys have brought playfulness yes…but also a new appreciation for the simple and lovely things that life holds…things that can get lost in the hustle and bustle of everyday living. I saw a program on T.V. that showed how trees have DNA very similar to human DNA. Hummm… maybe these little wooden “dolls” have some kind of Mo-jo for real. They are so sweet and kind and good and seem to have a lifeforce all of their own. NO I’m not off my rocker…just stating what I have observed.
They bring in new and remarkable friends into our lives and enrich us with wonder. Thank you Quimper Hitty Human and all your lovely Hittys in the cupboard who have enriched my life.
This story was precious. Loved it.
Thank you! I love the new friends and points of view I have encountered through Hitty! I had no idea about Tree DNA!
oh what fun it would have been to have pizza with “bunch” of you! Such a lovely basket of HIttys. Thanks for sharing your good times with us.
You are very welcome…and we’ll more than happily repeat the experience if you ever make it this far West!
Ooh what a delightful time together! 🙂 How sweet to have so many Hittys in conversation!
It was fun! The girls were all twittering away in their basket – Hitty Hannah was apparently especially thrilled to get out of her Hitty cupboard on this jaunt!
So much fun to see two of my human friends meeting. Know you had a great time despite the rain.
We did have fun! It was a lovely time had by all, and lovely pizza consumed by all too!
What a lovely fun visit you had and wonderful that you had this opportunity to meet up and made the best of the things despite the weather getting in the way.
We had thought it would be fun to visit the beach if the rain let up, but it didn’t. Visiting at the restaurant was fun too!
Waving to you both from Boston! ❤️❤️❤️
Waving right back!! Hi from Victoria!
Dear Quimper Hittys,
We had such a lovely visit, and so much fun to make friends. Such good food, too. A lovely view of the beach, although almost dark and raining. We love our pictures with you all and are so happy to have met more in our woody family.
We are grateful for you,
Love, Hittys Vestavia, Hannah, Sharon, and Trudy Cotton.
It was wonderful fun – friends are more important than weather in the big scheme of things!
