Bees
Linnea brought Constance to the Comox Valley Saturday Farmer’s Market, where they were enthralled by a display of bees!
The bees were in constant buzzing motion – making honey, tending the queen and looking after the eggs…

We learned so much from the Comox Valley Beekeeper’s Association – we appreciate the honey in our tea more than ever!

OMG. The smallest member of the family’s little hands showing the Hittys the queen bee was “tenderness in motion”. Her sweet little voice was just as adorable. It makes me happy to see the youngest generation understanding and caring for Hitty. I hope there are many more…like the youngest human… to enjoy and care for them after we are all gone.
I am so happy to have a little person to play Hittys with – and happy that we find such interesting things to do together!
Great video! Wonderful to see the little ones interacting…human and woodens too! Some of the best pleasures in life. Thank you so much for sharing.
She is a good little companion and studied the bees for a long time. I was happy that she wanted the Hittys to learn about them too!
The Hitty was looking at the Queen and the Queen was looking at the Princess…and the Hittys.
Sweet as honey narrative, huh?
So, so sweet! She is definitely my sweetie pie!
Oh my goodness… synchronicity… I had a wonderful dream about bees last night! I got goosebumps when I opened your beautiful post! Those dear little hands on the dolls… sigh… sweetness all round!
We loved seeing the bees – and the honey they were making, and the Queen!
Enjoyed the video and hearing the smallest Quimper human explain the scene. I enjoyed it just as much as the Hittys.
It was so nice to be there together, we saw sweetness!
We LOVED this episode. JJ, in particular, has developed a great interest in beekeeping this past year, so she and I watched the activities of the queen with great enthusiasm.
Thank you.

Goodness I am late in replying! We love honey – let us know if JJ decides to learn about bee-keeping and honey-making!
