You and Rose have making people happy in common. The bench mat is a jaw dropper! Love the theme, the colors and the pattern. Reply ↓
It’s exquisite! The bench is wonderful! It looks like it matches your wee rocking chairs perfectly- is it by the same maker? Reply ↓
The bench has rockers on it, but it is much bigger and less delicately made than the Albert Nadeau rocking chairs. We found it in a charity shop. Reply ↓
We are glad you like it, we had a lot of fun putting it together and are happy with the end result! Reply ↓
I love your use of the beads. And the lappets on the edge…perfection in every part. Rose and her human deserve accolades! Reply ↓
We borrowed the lappet idea from you! The little droplets are made from French knots, I thought they might look like little droplets of coloured water, beads would be a pretty idea! Reply ↓
It is wonderful to see such beautiful work coming from yours and Rose’s “hands”. It helps put me in the autumn mode in a very cozy way.. Reply ↓
It was a very nice weekend project, as the weather outside was stormy and Rose willing to help with the sewing! Reply ↓
Thanks very much! We enjoyed the sewing project, and it was a stormy day outside, so a good thing to work on last weekend. Reply ↓
Thank you for the inspiration! (And this blog! I look forward to each post and really enjoy the archives too.) Reply ↓

A beautiful bench pad. The leaves are lovely, and all the rest, too.

I love this mat and hope to make something like it for the Ivy House Hitties.
That would be great! We are thinking of making a spring one too!

My pleasure! I enjoy following my Hittys around, and taking pictures when I can!
