Wool Blanket

New Blanket

My weaving friend put a wool and silk twill flame-patterned warp onto her loom.  Most of the warp turned into a scarf, but luckily for me and the Hittys, an 8 inch bit of warp was leftover – plenty to make into a luxurious blanket.

The Quimper Hittys have several beds, but the one most suited to luxuriousness is the Glorious Bed.

…and decided that the colour, drape, cosiness and feel of the blanket was…luxurious indeed, and rather nap-inducing as well.

  1. The Glorious Bed was indeed the perfect spot for that marvelous coverlet. Constance chose wisely and she looks pretty cozy getting ready for a nap.

  2. Oh, my goodness…This is the embodiment of what the word precious means. That gorgeous bed, the beautiful blanket, and the look on the face of sweet gentle Constance. SO VERY PRECIOUS.
