Opal waited fairly patiently until I had time to make her a ladybug dress.

Fanned Pleats
To make her fancy bodice, I fanned the pleats a little and tacked them in place while sewing the rest of the dress. I think next time I will try making the bottom pleats even tighter.

The twins never fail to delight. One of my earliest memories as a wee one, was finding lady bugs on the backside of our privet hedge. It was my first ever treasure find. I love this post and the dresses are so special.
I am always happy to follow the twins, when the take a notion and gallop outside.
Those twins are just delightful. I am sure the new matching frocks have put them both in a very good mood. I am quite a fan of the pleated bodice and plan to give it a try on my next Hitty dress!
