Cloudy
Jane does not despair when faced with cloudy glassware…
.
.
…she puts them in the sink…
.
.
…pumps some water…
.
.
…scrubs them with washing soda…
.
.
…then the glass is all clear again – just the way she likes it!!
.
.
Thanks to the Hitty’s favourite photographer for the two wee tiny medicine bottles which inspired Jane to undertake this bout of cleaning.

These dear old Pegs are remarkable in their ability to handle the work of the Household. Venerable Tottie possesses the same sort of skill and the same pleasant outlook of your Jane – quite unflappable, and a font of practical knowledge.
I think Venerable Tottie and Jane might get along – don’t you? Some times I think Jane has memorised Mrs Beeton’s entire book of household management!
Jane is such an acomplished cleaning doll. She knows all the tricks in the book…and uses them! Does she have an idea how to get rid of a cloudy sky???? We could use it today.
Love that reply Dollhouse lady…
Alas, Jane’s actual expertise is restricted to the cleaning-up of messes around the household, but her advice is to wait and see, your clouds will probably clear up soon!
The sink, the bottles, and those bubbles look so realistic…just the perfect size. What are those bubbles made of????
The bubbles are a pinch of curly polyester stuffing…we seem to have acquired several little bottles – the two latest are very cute!
Always fun to see Jane in action! Love the photo of her pumping water .
We sometimes wonder why she doesn’t get more muscles from all the pumping iron she does (cast iron that is)
I believe this is a wonderful, collaborative effort on the parts of the 3 “individuals” involved. Thanks for another cozy glimpse into the QH household. Is Jane available for hire?
She is our favourite household help, and very efficient, but I believe she spends part time in the carnicerĂa, and Tuesdays at St Denis!
Bravo for Jane and her expert cleaning recipes. The old tiny bottles are now sparkling.
We love how they clean up with just a bit of washing soda!
Cute little bottles! Clever Jane!
We like finding small things the Hittys can use – and Jane always knows how to fix them up!
