Wisteria
Tuesday and Constance took a little half-hour basket-ride North to our favourite garden on the Saanich Peninsula.

Tuesday climbed up the twisty trunk…

…and mingled with the hanging blossoms…

Constance agrees – it seems to be a spectacular year for Wisteria.

Oh how lovely it must have been so see the wisteria. Does it have a heavenly fragrance? We had it when we lived in the southern part of the USA for a time. It was lavender colored and oh so pleasingly fragrant.
It is a beautiful plant at this time of year – the scent was not very strong that day, but it was cool and rainy which may have dampened it.
Beautiful wisteria. When I saw the first picture I thought Tuesday was a flower.
Tuesday is pleased – I think she is one of the sweet flowers in my Hitty bouquet!
It is certainly a spectacular year for lovely HIttys in wonderful pinnies! What a magnificent wisteria!
We love this plant…I am considering trying to grow one for the Hitty cupboard…
