Burgundy and Gold
Aurelia and Constance noticed that the autumn rain had let up for a minute…
.
.
…so they skipped outside to breathe the cool damp air.
.
.
The witch Hazel leaves are beautiful this year…
.
.
… the Snapdragons are almost spent…
.
.
…though the Fuchsia seems to go on and on.
.
.
It is a gold and burgundy time of year.

Thanks to our Hitty friend who sent us the wonderful package of perfectly autumn Hitty clothing, including Aurelia and Constance’s aprons and Burgundy and Gold dresses.

What beautiful clothing and colors are combined here with your narrative today. You are the fortunate recipient of autumn splendor in many ways.
We feel very fortunate! It was great to get out in the “not-rain” for a few moments, with such charming and well-dressed Hittys!
Fall is in the air. It’s so nice that you were able to get out and enjoy the colors.
We enjoyed it! The West Coast is not as spectacular as the East when it comes to the glorious spectacle of autumn leaves, but if you look at the small stuff we think the colours are very like!
What gorgeous photos…your fall flowers and foliage are lovely. Your girls are the perfect guides to nature.
They were very glad that the leaves and flowers were within a short walking distance of the Hitty cupboard, as it began to rain again almost right away!
Autumn is our favorite season. The flowers in your last frame are so pretty next to Mormor…who looks so pleased with Aurelia and Constance. ( Mormor’s hair is carved to perfection) she looks so great.
Aurelia and Constance insisted on bringing some of the splendor inside for Mormor – she did appreciate it! She thanks you for the compliment on her hair…and says that a hoary head is a crown of glory!
