Mizzle
Constance and Patience looked outside and saw a lot of grey…
.
.
…but they put on their raingear anyway, and went out into the mizzle. It is good weather for mushrooms…
.
.
…and puddles.
.
.
There are a few late wildflowers…
.
.
…and a surprising inflorescence on this succulent.
.
.
It is cool and damp and lovely outside!

The colours look so saturated on a rainy day. Thanks so much for sharing Constance’s and Patience’s outing with us!
You are welcome – it was a lovely day, even if damp!
Thank you Constance and Patience for your walk in the rain. You both looked beautiful in your colorful raincoats as you took me on a tour..
It is definitely raincoat weather around here…the girls were glad to be able to get outside even if it was a bit damp!
Ah! You remind me to enjoy every single day no matter the weather. You found wonderful presents that mother nature gives to us…and you also gave me a brand-new word. MIZZEL.
Mizzle is a useful word to us…heavier than fog, but lighter than rain…it perfectly described the morning!
good friends have fun even in mizzly weather! Love that final photo…old friends, book ends!!!
Yes – the girls and the foxglove are persisting in the mizzly weather – damp petals and skirts and all!
