Flannelette
It is a chilly time of year, and Aurelia and Arianell have dug out the flannelette nighties…
.
.
….they went to bed…
.
.
…but something was not quite right…
.
.
so Arianell assembled the teddies…
.
.
…and then they all were snug as bugs in a rug…
.
.
…though in the end there wasn’t room for everyone!

Cozy, cuddly and cute! The quilt is beautiful!
Thank you – the quilt was a gift from a Hitty friend who was downsizing! We find bright colours very heartening in the darkening days of October.
It’s a cold and rainy day here in the Eastern U.S. Cuddling up in a flannel nightgown looks enticing…as so often happens in your stories, you end with a surprising spin on the story which makes me laugh…I have a tiny wee dog that sleeps in the bed with me. He takes up so much room at times (sleeping sideways) that I find myself hanging onto the edge of my bed to keep from falling out of it.
It is surprising how much room little creatures can occupy! The Hittys love all their nightgowns, but these ladybugs are pretty much their favourites, especially at this time of year!
A perfect episode, as usual. I just love the sleepover/cool nights/ flannel gowns of this story. Just perfect.
Thank you 🙂 some times the Hittys know exactly what is required – on their suggestion I got out my own flannelette finery a day or two ago!
How charming….love all the photos but the ones of them cuddled in with teddies is precious. Those night gowns look extra cozy
Thanks very much! They are extra cosy in their night attire…and the teddies are always thrilled to be included in a cosy caper that involves cuddles!
