Finnish Independence Day 2019
Eugenia and Arianell have set two lit candles in the window for Independence Day…this is a signal that people may find a safe haven in this house during times of oppression.
Hyvää Itsenäisyyspäivää – Happy 102 years of Independence, Finland!
On Finnish Independence Day 2011 Constance and Tansy became involved in a great Reindeer Saga, the entire story can be seen by following this link Start by reading the bottom post first – they are in reverse order for some reason.

I love that Positiivarit advent calendar!
I do too!
Beautiful photo.
Thank you very much.
Wishing every human a safe haven. This is a lovely photo with a beautiful meaning.
Thank you, my Hittys are proud of their Finnish (and Swedish) grandparents…we’ve learned a lot from them, including different things to celebrate!
Lovely. My brother has been to Finland in cooperation with their armed forces and was very impressed with the Nation and its people.. I had forgotten the great Reindeer saga…how fun to be reminded.. The girls had quite an adventure!
We loved Finland when we visited – But we think we’d like winter time there too. The girls have been wondering where their reindeer friend has gone…maybe we need to go on another reindeer hunt!
