Sunreturn
The last few days have been very dark, wet and windy in Victoria.
However, Min and Carrot Soup are warm and dry, and at the Hitty Art Gallery admiring a sunny quilt!

Four little kumquat fruits represent the four seasons of the year…we decided to display this quilt in memory of longer hours of warmth, sunshine and daylight. Today the solstice is at 8:19 pm Pacific time…may all our friends in the Northern hemisphere begin to enjoy the lengthening days.

Just seeing Min and Carrot soup brightened up my day!!!
Carrot Soup and Min and I are happy to have brightened your shortest day of the year!
Ahhhh, you’ve pictured such refreshment in this darkest time of the year. It’s a beautiful narrative (and always love your quilts-nice to see that one again).
We enjoyed making that quilt, and very glad to get it out again in hopes to maximize the sunshine today!
Thanks for starting my day with sunshine and sparkle and hope!
You are very welcome! It is a good day to be reminded of sunshine, sparkle and hope!
Beautiful cheery quilt for these dark dreary days of Winter.
It has been very dark and dreary here, so the quilt warms us up in more than one respect…I am glad you like it too!
Such a lovely quilt! Love the colors and that design!!! +
We are celebrating the solstice with good books and hot tea! And happily the sun is shining here for a while anyway!
Good books and hot tea are excellent ways to celebrate! We didn’t have an iota of sunshine today, but my day was brightened by friends like you and others here!
Yes, Winter Solstice is cold and cloudy here, too. A gloomy day in Georgia, USA. This Sunshine Quilt would brighten any day!

We are glad that you like our Sunshine Quilt, it was fun to make. We put it into the Art Gallery to remind us of warmer and brighter mornings in the past, and yet to come!
Merry Christmas! Thank you for making our lives enriched by Quimper Hittys tales!
Very pretty quilt! Happy Solstice, Quimpers!
Thank you so much, Martha…Happy Solstice to you too!
