Shapes of Green
Mormor doesn’t need to sit inside on this beautiful morning!
.
.
She loves going outside at this time of year – there are so many green and growing things in all shades and shapes of green!
.
.
The yellow-green Hazel leaves are unfolding….
.
.
…fragrant, lovely Lemon Balm…
.
.
…crinkled Rhubarb darkening and growing…
.
.
…Raspberry prickling upwards…
.
.
…and the beautiful onions!

Mormor feels very lucky that social distancing doesn’t mean sitting inside in our neighbourhood. The Quimper Hittys are taking care of themselves and each other, and are glad they can go outside for walks and breathe lots of fresh air. We hope all our blog friends are doing OK and keeping well in this worrying time. We hope you can enjoy the Equinox today – the earliest it has been in over a hundred years! Spring is welcome in our neighbourhood…and we hope fall will be pleasant for our friends south of the equator!
Such a pretty time of year, and one to make the most of as and when we can. I’m so glad I can still get out and about with no human contact! lol….
It is so pretty these days of early spring, I just love all the shades and shapes of green! How lovely you can go for solitary walks nearby!
Colors do come in shapes! Mormor has had enough experience to notice such things.
It is ceaselessly amazing to me how a little crinkled scrunch of green can become a giant rhubarb leaf or a feathery fragrant lemon balm, or a spear of onion!
RAINY weather here so we enjoyed seeing Mormor out and about.
Drat about the inclement weather, I hope it is enough to soak the soil, just right for planting, but not enough to make it overly soggy.
