Fawn Lilies
Vanilla visited the meadow…

…where the Fawn lilies bloom.

The meadows are awash…

…with leaves spotted like fawns…
.

…and flowers of fragile beauty.

This one has pink petals!

…and this one has two blooms on one stalk!

I’ve never seen a wild meadow like this one. Just gorgeous.Happy Easter everyone.
Isn’t it beautiful! One of our favourite places to linger at this time of year!
What a beautiful meadow with fawn lillies – Thank you Vanilla for sharing this lovely part of Nature with us
We are glad you could visit the lovely lily meadow with us this year!
Let’s imagine a parade of woodens among the fawn lilies…all of our woodens marching out of darkness in your meadow 😍 perfect day for it..and while they’re at it, maybe a little Easter eggs hunt too. Thank you for setting the scene.
Wouldn’t that be fun? We humans stand at the edges of the lily meadow, but the wee dollies could weave in and out of the stems without damaging them – I often think it would be nice to shrink down and be Hitty-sized for a while, just to see what it was like!
Yes, hope from darkness…amen. Thank you Vanilla and K…
You are so welcome…love from all the Quimpers, Hitty and human!
what a glorious sight! Thanks to Vanilla and her human for showing us their beauty. Happy Spring to the Quimper Cupboard and their humans.
We are always glad to share our views of nature, and the garden and our adventures therein. Happy Spring to you and yours!
oh, thank you, I haven’t been this year. Like the lilies hope is persistent – and sometimes fragile.
Indeed yes – we do hope! The lilies are glorious, and will be there for another few days I think…
Exquisite! It’s so wintery here! More snow this morning and oh so cold…. so seeing the fawn lilies is a welcome thing!
Winter goes on and on sometimes, we are happy to share our BC spring with you – may yours arrive soon!
Wow, This meadow is lovely. It is like magic. Thank you, and Vanilla, for sharing it.
I think it IS magical, and beautiful, Vanilla certainly agrees, and she says she was happy to share – the meadow is to beautiful not to!
