The Hittys love apples! They are eternally grateful to the neighbours who gave them apples this year – we still mis the one that keeled over in a storm some years back.
Apple crisp, crumble, pandowdy, pie, cake and now “stuff” we think Mormors are apple adepts, and such delicious memories are as good as an extra spoonful of sugar!
Oh yes it is indeed apple time! I am looking over the recipes for apple crisp , apple upside down cake..etc. etc. Looking forward to what Mormor comes up with. Ida is also going thru her recipe box for her favorite apple dumpling recipe! LOVE the apple peeler!!!
yummm!

Nothing tastes so good as a treat from your Mormor.
I remember my Mormor making us apple crisp this time of year. So special.

I would rather them raw too.
Sweet and crisp, a tasty apple straight off the tree is pretty wonderful!
I agree with you.
Amazing props! I love the bowls and also the apple peeler. The tiny apple wedges are adorable.
The apple peeler is invaluable at this time of year – everything gets done so much more quickly, which means more deliciousness in the Hitty cupboard!

Yummy! Let us know if Ida finds her dumpling recipe – Mormor would like to add it to her collection!
